Having lived in the Hawkesbury since 1987, and working in small animal vet clinics for 20 years, Dr Shawna Mackenzie set up Hawkesbury Mobile Vaccination and Microchipping Service in 2002.

She realised how stressed many pets(and their owners!) get when visiting vet clinics for their yearly checkups and vaccinations. She saw a need for a mobile service, especially for elderly pet owners, parents with young children and breeders with large litters.

Pets are usually much happier to be examined in their own familiar surrounds, and often key indicators of certain conditions in the environment can be investigated(eg skin allergy causes, behaviour problems.)

Shawna specialises in providing a friendly and professional service especially for yearly vaccinations, heartworm injections and microchipping.

A " tip to tail" checkup is included for each animal, and she doesn't charge an additional "travel fee".

Discounts are given for multiple animals and litters.
